Subject: Complaint Against The Shopkeepers Making Short Of Measures

Sir,     
I would like to seek the courtesy of your newspaper to publish this letter on the above subject matter. This will help attracting the attention of the concerned authorities towards the matter.

The shopkeepers especially those selling food items, groceries: meat seller, milk sellers and fruit seller are selling short of measure. For example, if you but one kilogram meat, it might weigh only three fourth of a kilogram. Your pay for 1 Kg. and get 25% less meat. It has become a common trend of almost all the shopkeepers to give short of measure.

It is important that this malpractice be eradicated from the society I am sure the concerned authorities will take severe action against the shopkeepers who do not weigh things accurately and honestly.
